Read these instructions carefully before using the.
• THIS PRODUCT CAN ONLY BE FITTED AND USED ON MODELS OF CARRYCOTS DESIGNED FOR INSTALLATION WITH THE SET.
CHECK IN THE CARRYCOT INSTRUCTION MANUAL THAT IT HAS BEEN DESIGNED FOR USE WITH THE “SET OMOLOGATO AUTO
cod 9700372100”.
• Follow the instructions very carefully for the assembly and installation of the product.
• Prevent anyone who has not read the instructions from using the product.
• Keep this manual together with the product.
• No safety product in the car can guarantee baby’s absolute safety in the case of an accident, but use of this product
reduces the risk of injury and death.
• Incorrect use of the product increases the risk of serious injury to the child, not only in the case of an accident, but also
in other circumstances.
• The product must be replaced if it is damaged, deformed or extremely worn: the original safety features may no longer
be effective.
• Do not modify the product or add anything to it without the manufacturer’s approval.
• Do not install accessories, spare parts or components that are not supplied by the manufacturer.
• Never, under any circumstance, should baby be left unsupervised in the carrycot in the car.
• Never leave the carrycot unfastened on the car seat: in the event of an accident or if the brakes are applied suddenly,
the carrycot could hit and injure passengers.
• If the car has been left in the sun, check the carrycot carefully before placing baby inside to make sure that some of the
parts have not overheated: if this is the case, allow the parts to cool down before placing baby inside, to avoid any risk of
scorching.
• Following an accident, even a slight one, the frame of the carrycot and the SET OMOLOGATO AUTO may be damaged in a
way that is not visible to the naked eye: therefore, they should be replaced.
• Never use second-hand safety products in the car: they may have suffered structural damage that is not visible to the
naked eye, but which could compromise the safety of the product.
• FOPPAPEDRETTI declines all responsibility for improper use of the product.
IMPORTANT WARNING
1. This is a “Universal” baby retaining device, approved in accordance with Regulation N. 44, amendment series 04. It is
suitable for general use in vehicles and is compatible with most, but not all, car seats.
2. It is easier to check for perfect compatibility if the car manufacturer declares in the car manual that the vehicle is desi-
gned for the installation of “Universal” child retaining devices for the age range in question.
3. This child retaining device has been classified as “Universal” according to the stricter standard approval criteria compa-
red with previous models that are not provided with this notice.
4. It is only suitable for use in vehicles equipped with 3-point safety belts, whether static or retracting, that are standard
approved in accordance with Regulation UN/ECE N. 16 or other equivalent standards.
5. In case of doubt, contact the manufacturer of the child retaining device or the retailer.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
SET OMOLOGATO AUTO is a component that enables purpose-designed carrycots (read the carrycot manual to check that it
has been designed for this type of installation) to be secured and used inside the car to transport baby correctly during the
first months of life.
The product has been standard approved according to European Regulation ECE R44/04 in “Group 0”, for transporting
babies from 0 to 10 Kg. in weight, corresponding approximately up to 6 months of age.
The carrycot can be secured in the car, once it has been fitted with the SET OMOLOGATO AUTO.
CAR SEAT REQUIREMENTS
The car seat on which the carrycot is to be positioned must comply with the following requirements:
- it must be forward facing (Fig. 1);
- it must be a rear car seat provided with at least two passenger seatbelts with 3 securing points (Fig. 2), standard appro-
ved according to UNI/ECE Regulation 16, or an alternative regulation.
HOW TO FIT THE SET OMOLOGATO AUTO on the carrycot
Follow the fitting instructions given below carefully before placing and using the carrycot in the car.
Safety padding
Insert the safety padding inside the carrycot, at the head of the carrycot (Fig. 3).
Lap belt
The lap belt must be inserted in the two slots (Fig. 4) provided in the base of the carrycot (see carrycot manual).
