2.2.1

Mounting/dismounting on H-rails

Note

H-rail mounting is not intended for the following valve
terminals VTSA :

– VTSA with type 03 electronics

Use wall mounting for this valve terminal variant.

Caution

– Make sure that the H-rail can support the weight of

the VTSA... valve terminal and can absorb torsion
e.g. through the vertical stacking.

– When mounting the valve terminal onto an H-rail,

note the specifications in standard EN 60715 and the
specifications on vibration and shock in the section
“Technical specifications” in Appendix A.

– H-rail mounting without an H-rail clamping unit is not

permitted.

•

If the terminal is mounted in a sloping position or if it is
subjected to vibration, secure the H-rail clamping unit
additionally
– against sliding down with the

locking screws (see Fig. 2/1, item 2)

– against unintentional loosening/opening.

In order to mount the valve terminal onto an H-rail you will
require the following mounting kits:

–

For VTSA... valve terminals with multi-pin node:
Mounting kit type CPA-BG-NRH.
This kit contains 2 M4x10 screws and 2 clamping
components.

–

For VTSA... valve terminals with CPX terminal:
Mounting kit type CPX-CPA-BG-NRH
This kit contains 3 M4x10 screws and 3 clamping
components.
