Festo P.BE−MTR−DCI−IO−EN en 0606b
The integrated controller of motor unit type MTR−DCI enables
connected linear or rotation axes to be placed in max. 15
positions (+ reference travel) with separately adjustable
speeds.
The permitted positioning range can be limited by means of
software end positions.
Parametrizing is carried out:
with a PC with the FCT software package via the RS232
interface
with the optional control panel with display and four
operating buttons.
Coupling to a higher−order PLC/IPC is carried out in operation
via digital inputs/outputs.
For positioning systems Festo offers accessories suited to the
drive packages and linear drives (see Festo delivery program
or catalogue).
Components and accessories
For setting up an electric drive with the MTR−DCI you will
require the following components:
Motor unit MTR−DCI Motor with controller, available in four sizes, optionally with
control panel (type ...−H2).
By means of different gear reductions per unit size, different
requirements can be fulfilled with the MTR−DCI in respect of
(gear) drive output torque and (gear) drive output speed (see
Technical appendix, chapter A.1). High drive output torques
with low drive output speeds are characteristic for position
ing functions. With the smaller gear reduction, the position
ing speed of the axis can be increased with correspondingly
reduced positioning force.
