When dealing with …-IS version products in conjunction with
potentially explosive atmospheres, please observe the spe-
cial documentation that is valid for the respective application
(
www.festo.com Downloads Technical documenta-
tion).
Rating plate of the CPX-P connection blocks and CPX-P modules
CPX-P modules and CPX-P connection blocks are either only
suitable for configuring intrinsically safe circuits or
non -in-
trinsically safe circuits depending on the type selected.
All product variants are provided with a standard rating plate.
Product variants that are suitable for intrinsically safe circuits
(...-IS version) also bear the following:
– product labelling which describes the certification
– blue colour coding
– mechanical coding with pre-assembled coding element.
When dealing with product models with corresponding ap-
provals and certificates in conjunction with potentially explos-
ive atmospheres, please observe the information contained in
the associated special documentation.
