11.4.2 Wire Guide
The wire guide should be cleaned monthly.
>>
Soak a pipe cleaner with pure alcohol or acetone.
>>
Pull the pipe cleaner several times through the feed channel and the wire guide tube.
>>
Pull a dry pipe cleaner several times through the feed channel and the wire guide tubes.
>>
Clean the clamping disc and the feed channel on the coil holder with a lint-free cloth soaked in alcohol or ace-
tone.
11.4.3 Wire Liner
The teflon wire guide tube is subject to wear during the bonding process due to retightening of the wire. For this rea-
son it should be checked regularly and replaced if necessary.
11.4.4 Wire Clamp
The wire clamp should be checked monthly for deposits and cleaned if necessary. This can be done in the installed
condition.
>>
Open the wire clamp with the "Wire Clamp" button.
>>
Soak a clean and lint-free piece of paper with pure alcohol or acetone.
>>
Move the paper back and forth several times between the clamp jaws.
>>
Push a clean and lint-free piece of dry paper into the clamp and close the clamp.
>>
Pull paper carefully out of the clamp.
>>
Repeat the entire process several times.
11.4.5 Bond Tool
Since it is difficult to clean a bonding tool, it is better to replace the dirty tool with a new one, so the bonding quality
always remains constant.
