Feed in wire and bond. 

The <Feed In Position> is approached with the button 

In this position those functions are available, which facilitate the threading of the bonding wire.

TIP

Helpful for threading the wire is the activation of the ultrasound via the keypad. This is possible by pressing 
the <Enter> key on the keypad.

With the <Bond Off> function, 

the wire can be bent at a predetermined position to create a tail of the correct length (for example, after feeding in).

Flame Off. 

This function is only available for the bond head type 5X10.

During the bonding process the flame is automatically removed to create a ball at the end of the wire. With the button 
<Flame off / Wire Feed> you can start the FlameOff process manually. 

The programmable FlameOff parameters can be found under <Page> <Global Program Settings> <Process>.

Depending on the wire diameter you can roughly select the power output in the <High> and <Low> range.

In addition, the fine adjustment of the ignition voltage by means of <Current> and <Time> in % is possible there.

With <Current> the ignition voltage is adjusted to the wire diameter, with <Time> the time how long the spark is held 
is adjusted and thus the size of the melted ball is influenced.
