Adjustment Work on the Bondhead

11.3.5 Bracket Settings Heavy Ribbon Kit

Bracket settings HR-Kit

1. Opening width wire clamp.

Open locknut

Adjust stop

2. Adjust the force of the wire clamp.

3. Distance to the tool.

Loosen the fastening screws of the HR kit

Move the entire kit

4. Adjust the height of the wire guide.

Loosen brass clamping screw

Move guide by hand

The adjustable stop screw allows precise adjustment

IMPORTANT!

The clamping pressure must only be adjusted to the wire diameter if necessary!

Less pressure to avoid marks on thin wires.

Higher pressure to prevent the wire from slipping through when the wire is thick.

11.4 Cleaning of the Components

DANGER!

Never use sandpaper or abrasive cleaning agents to clean components. A lint-free cloth soaked in pure al-
cohol or acetone is best for cleaning all components.

11.4.1 Machine

Clean the machine and check for possible damages. Use a lint-free cloth soaked in alcohol or acetone.

After cleaning the moving parts, they may have to be lubricated again.
