Manual Defrosting (Forced defrosting)
About frost formation
The unit will activate over-cool alarm or will
be unable to perform cooling capability nor
control temperature for the following
conditions.
Check the condition of frost formation through
observing window in the chamber and execute
manual defrosting.

. Starting manual Defrosting
No matter whether the temperature is controlled or
not, press
「
Def
」
key for longer than 5 sec. Then,
manual defrosting will be started automatically.
After executing Defrosting operation while the
temperature is controlled, the control that was
performed before executing Defrosting will be
continued.

Because of the temperature in the chamber
2. Temperature change in the chamber while
executing manual Defrosting.
If you execute manual Defrosting while the
refrigeration unit works, the refrigeration unit gets
stopped and heater is turned on. Setting temperature
for manual Defrosting is 25
℃
and the operation will be
completed in an hour.
※
If you press [Set] key while executing Defrosting,
setting temperature for stationary operation will
be displayed.
※
Even though the temperature does not reach at
setting value, 25
℃
, the operation will be
completed in an hour automatically. If the unit
still has frost formation, execute defrosting again.
3.Stopping Defrosting manually
If you'd like to stop Defrosting forcibly, press [Def] key
for longer than 5 sec. to finish the operation.
The frost that is attached to refrigeration unit will
be melted and removed by Defrosting or forced
defrosting (Defrost). The water will be flowed into
drainage tray (approx. 4L) on the back surface of the
unit and evaporated. When huge volume of water is
drained because of forced Defrosting, water will be
overflowed. Check the tray whether it contains huge
volume of water and execute forced defrosting.
When executing forced Defrosting
(
Defrost), take
the samples out from the chamber. Sample may
be damaged because of temperature change or
the passage of time.
Required time for cooling differs depending on the water
volume of the tray. When the tray contains some
water, required time for cooling may be longer,
however, if the tray has no water, the unit performs
normal cooling capability. After forced defrosting, the
water is often cooler and the required time for cooling
may be longer, however, this is not malfunction.
