GETTING STARTED
Upon unpacking, the user should find:
1. A frame housing the 3080UEP
2. 3080UEP
3. User manual
4. Serial upgrade cable
3080UEP-H264P60-IPASI is normally shipped in any of the following three frames:
1. EMX6-FR
2. EMX3-FR
3. EMX1-FR
3080UEP requires two 6RU slots to be installed. It can be housed in either of the above frames.
Remove the power cords from their package and connect each one to one of the two black power
sockets on the rear side of the frame. Then connect the other end of each power cord to a power
source that meets product requirements. Insert the UEP in any spare slots and make sure it is properly
seated by pressing the ejectors on the front of the UEP. Turn power switches to the ‘ON’ position on
the frame, and the UEP should automatically power on. Should the device not start when connected to
a power source, check that the power cords are firmly connected and the UEP is properly seated.
