1 - SYMPTOM WATER SHORTAGE OR LOW WATER FLOW RATE
Probable causes:
• Water shortage in the supply network
(reversible defect)
.
• Decrease in water pressure from the supply network
(reversible defect)
.
• Saturated water filter
(irreversible defect)
.
• Water solenoid valve (63) not working
(irreversible defect)
.
The circuit board (62) waits for 15 minutes for the water level to touch the mobile water sensor
(55). If this does not happen, the circuit board (62) switches off the water solenoid valve (63),
switches on the Yellow LED light indicating lack of water, then turns on the gear motor (60), taking
the plastic trough (35) to the lowest position and discarding the little water that may have entered.
A by-pass cycle starts and then the circuit board (62) switches on the gear motor (60), taking the
plastic trough (35) to the highest point. A new attempt to fill the plastic trough (35) will be
performed until the anomaly causing the water shortage is resolved (reversible defect) or the
equipment is inspected (irreversible defect).
The above procedure prevents the evaporator (20) thimbles from freezing the little remaining water
in the plastic trough (35), forming an ice block attached to it and to the ends of said thimbles,
which would cause serious damage to the equipment's mechanical system.
