Always  follow  the  instruction  in  the  frame  above  the  protection  system  as  this 

instruction specifies the sequence that must be followed when switching on. Start by 

switching on the F1, then after waiting 10 secs switch on the F2. Failure to follow this 

instruction

 may result in damage to the UPS unit. 

The F5 protection for the connection of an external battery pack (optional) is provided 

by suitable fuses (Fig. 9). When the fuse holder clamp is opened, all three terminals 

(positive, negative and neutral) are disconnected.
