The gas sample should be drawn to the centre of the combustion gas flux. The correct gas volume is sampled
with 10 uniform shoots by the pump. We suggest using a retaining cone during gas sampling.
Compare the darkening of the filter with the smoke index comparing table. The smoke index found should not
exceed the ones defined by the current normative.
6.3.1 Input
of
the Smoke Index
Before input the data, you have to execute the smoke index measurements. You can input up to 3 separate
values; the analyzer will make the average calculations.
These values will be printed on the final report with the other gas analysis data.
