General use

WARNING

Fire hazard! Never use the product for the extraction of 
inflammable, glowing or burning particles, substances or 
liquids. Never use the product for the extraction and/or 
filtration of aggressive vapours (such as hydrochloric acid) or 
sharp particles. 

• 

Inspect the product and check for damage. Verify the operation of the 
safety provisions. 

• 

Check the workspace. Do not allow unauthorised persons into the 
workspace. 

• 

Use your common sense. Stay alert and concentrate on the work. Do 
not use the product if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, 
alcohol or medication. 

• 

Always ensure adequate ventilation, especially in smaller areas. 

• 

Never install the product in front of entrances, exits and passages 
intended for emergency services. 

• 

Ensure that sufficient approved fire extinguishers are available in the 
workplace. 

• 

Protect the product from water and moisture. 

• 

Do not use the product at a relative humidity above 80%. 

• 

Do not use the product at temperatures below 5 °C or above  45 °C. 

• 

Keep the controls free of dirt and grease. 

• 

The product is not explosion-proof. Therefore, never use the product in 
an explosion-hazardous environment, due to possible sparks from the 
motor or the filter package. 

Use of DUST FREE INDUSTRIAL 8500 

• 

The product is suitable for extraction and filtration of dust and fine 
particulates, cement, sawdust or wood dust etc.  
 

• 

Never

 use the product for the extraction of dust particles generated 

during welding work on primed surfaces. 

• 

Never

 use the product for the extraction and/or filtration of vapours 

from or produced during: 

 

- gouging

 

- paint mist 

 

- hot gases (continuously above 40 °C) 

 

- corrosive gases (e.g. from acids) 

 

- plasma cutting 

 

- aluminium or magnesium grindings 

 

- wire flame spraying 

 

- burning cigarettes, cigars, oily rags or other burning particles,  

 

 

   objects and acids 

 

-in all explosion-hazardous situations (this list is not exhaustive)

After switching off the motor, wait approx. 10 seconds before removing 
the filters. 

Service, maintenance and repairs

In this manual, a clear distinction is made between service, 
maintenance and repair work that may be carried out by the 
user and that which may only be carried out by trained and 
authorised service technicians. 

• 

Switch off the machine for maintenance. 

• 

Observe the specified maintenance intervals. Overdue maintenance 
may result in high repair and overhaul costs and may invalidate 
warranty claims. 

• 

Always use manufacturer-approved tools, parts, materials, lubricants 
and service techniques. Never use worn tools and do not leave any 
tools in or on the product. 

• 

Do not carry out any service, maintenance or repair work on the 
product until it has been secured against unintentional operation. 

• 

Safety provisions that have been removed for service, maintenance or 
repair purposes must be installed and checked for correct operation 
immediately after these operations. 

• 

Regularly clean the inside of the housing. 

• 

Replace the filters on time. 

PACKAGING MATERIAL

The packaging used to transport and protect the product 
consists mainly of the following recyclable substances: 
    - solid and corrugated cardboard 
    - polythene film 
    - untreated wood 
Therefore, do not dispose of the packaging as industrial waste. 
Instead, ask your municipal waste management service where 
you can submit the material. 

Product

Products you dispose of may still contain valuable substances and materials. 
Therefore, do not dispose of the product as industrial waste. Instead, ask the 
municipality about the possibilities for reuse or environmentally friendly 
processing of the material.
