RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A GOOD CUT
• Check the direction of fall of the branch to be cut.
• Do not stand where the branch is likely to fall.
• Cut larger branches in several stages.
• Never work from a ladder. This position is not stable enough and is dangerous.
• Do not make any back and forth movements with the tool.
• Check that the diameter of the wood being cut matches the technical machine specifications.
• First, make a cut from the bottom and then a cut from the top.
• Never apply excessive force when cutting, simply guide the chain. If you force it, this may
damage the tool, which in turn can cause the chain and chain guide to jam in the branch.
• If the chain and chain guide are jammed, stop the machine and release them whilst taking the
necessary precautionary measures.
• Do not work on uneven ground or on a ladder. There is a risk that you could
lose your balance.
• Do not apply force.
• Do not saw above shoulder height.
• Always hold the machine in both hands.
