Wear suitable protective clothing when using the device.
Note the sharp edges of the chain. Always wear gloves.
Chain assembly
1. Pull the front hand guard forward before unlocking the chain
brake. Undo the nuts and remove the
chain cover (a).

c) Coupling (transmission sprocket rear
2. Fit the chain guide to the designated place on the engine unit.
Insert the bolt of the chain tensioning screw (d) opposite the hole
(b).
3. Position the chain on the chain guide.
Note the direction of the chain.
Position the teeth facing outward.
4. Refit the chain cover to the engine block using the nuts.
5. Adjust the tension of the chain by turning the tensioning screw until the chain touches the insi-
de of the guide.
6. Then tighten the nuts securely. Check the chain tension by allowing the chain to rotate at low
power. If necessary, readjust the chain tension.
7. Tighten the tensioning screw.
