PROTECTION
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE WARNING INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL MAY LEAD
TO SEVERE INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE THE MACHINE.
As an aid to understanding the safety instructions, the following symbols are used in this
manual:
This symbol “WARNINGS” indicates actions or behaviour that may cause a
hazardous situation or could lead to severe injury if the operator comes in contact
with dangerous parts.
This symbol “CAUTION” indicates important points that, if not heeded, could
result in damage to the tool.
Description of the symbols present on the machine:
Risk of injury or damage to equipment.
Switch off the engine before filling with petrol.
Read the user manual before use.
Wear safety glasses and ear protectors when using the tool
Wear a protection helmet.
Wear safety boots.
Wear safety gloves.
The exhaust fumes from the engine contain carbon monoxide.
Never operate the tool in an enclosed space!
