Using petrol and engine oil
• This tool is powered by a two-stroke engine. This requires special fuel for
two-stroke engines (petrol-oil mixture).
• Use fully synthetic oil for two-stroke-engines
• DO NOT use BIA or TCW type oil.
• Recommended petrol/oil ratio: 40:1.
• The tool can also be used with a mixture of super petrol (95 RON) and the
above-mentioned synthetic oil.
• Be careful when mixing oil and petrol.
• Fill the required quantities of oil and petrol into a can specifically designed for
petrol (according to the recommended ratio) and shake it to mix it all. Shake the
can for one minute.
• Make sure that the fuel tank and can are closed tightly before starting up the
tool.
• Stand at least 3 metres away from the fuel source before starting the engine.
Using chain oil
• This oil is used to lubricate the chain. The tool has a special oil tank for this.
• This tool is driven by chain oil.
• Store the oil in a designated container.
• When changing or topping up the oil, make sure that no foreign bodies get into
the oil tank.
