Problem Possible Cause - Solution
The Wireless LAN or
Bluetooth modules
cannot be detected. The modules are off. Check the LED indicator to see if the modules are on or off (see
“LED Status Indicators” on page 2 - 5 ). If the LED indicator is off, then press the WLAN
or Bluetooth Module On/Off key combination in order to enable the modules (see “Intel
PRO/Wireless Mini PCI WLAN Module” on page 3 - 31 , and/or “Bluetooth Module” on
page 3 - 33 ).
The Wireless LAN or
Bluetooth modules
cannot be configured. The driver(s) for the module(s) have not been installed. Make sure you have installed the
driver for the appropriate module (see
Table 4 - 1 - Install Procedure on page 4 - 6 for
the location of the install instructions appropriate for your system).
