Bluetooth (Win2000)
The Bluetooth module is an
optional
feature. If you
have not included the Bluetooth module in your
purchase option, do not install the driver.
1. Make sure the module is powered on before
installing the driver. To toggle power to the
WLAN module use the key combination
Fn +
F12
.
2. Insert the
Bluetooth CD-ROM
. (The program
should run automatically.)
3. Click
Install Drivers and Application
Software
and click
Next
.
4. Click the button to accept the license
agreement, then click
Next
.
5. Click
Next > Install
(click
OK
if asked if you
want to continue).
6. Click
Finish
>
Yes
to restart the computer.
7. You can configure the settings in the
Bluetooth
Configuration
control panel (
Start
menu and
point to
Settings
and click
Control Panel
then
double-click the
Bluetooth Configuration
icon), or by double-clicking the
Bluetooth
icon
on the desktop, or in the taskbar.
Insert the
Bluetooth CD-ROM
and click
Read Me
to access the
Manual and Application note
(see
“Bluetooth Manual and Application Note” on
page 3 - 34
).
Bluetooth & WLAN Modules
Do not try to use the Wireless LAN module and the
Bluetooth module at the same time, as this may
cause a
communication conflict
.
Wireless Device Operation Aboard Aircraft
The use of any portable electronic transmission devices
aboard aircraft is usually prohibited. Make sure the mod-
ule(s) are
OFF
if you are using the computer aboard aircraft.
When the computer first ‘Boots Up’ the module(s) will be
OFF
.
If you
restart
the computer the power status of the module
will remain
the same
as it was before the restart. If you
shut
down
the computer the module will turn
OFF
.
