Check automatic closing of the actuators
The additional circuit board [NS-A] provides an
emergency power supply for the actuator and the
primary air, as well as for the control flap in the flue gas
recirculation. They close the control flap drives or the
primary air valve respectively in the event of a power
failure.
Carry out the following steps to check automatic
closing.
Manually open primary air valve
1. Establish the boiler's power supply at the mains
switch.
2. With the [Service] access level, switch to the
outputs and inputs menu in the boiler's function
block.
3. Select output [Primary air] and tap on the
symbol. A window for manual mode opens. Press
the [On] key so that the primary air valve moves to
the open position.
4. Close the window.
Next, manually open the control flap in the flue gas re-
circulation.
Manually open control flap
1. In the boiler function block, switch to the text menu.
2. Open the sub-menu for the control flap:
3. Set control flap demand [Demand] to [On].
4. Select parameter [Output] and enter the value
10.0 V (=completely open).
If both drives are in the open position, switch off
the boiler power supply on the mains switch. Both
drives must automatically turn back to the closed
position.
Check seal on combustion chamber door
Open and then close the combustion chamber door.
When closing, make sure that it closes tightly and with
force. The sealing edges of the door frame must leave
a clear indentation in the sealing cord of the
combustion chamber door.
