Leaks can be detected by variations in the colouration
of the sealing cord. If leaks are found, it usually suffices
to adjust the hinges. If the hinges cannot be adjusted
any further, the sealing cord must be replaced.

To adjust the hinges, you must first remove the panel
next to the combustion chamber door. To do so,
unscrew both screws and remove the panel.

On the two eye bolts, first slacken the front nut and
adjust it by rotating a 1/4 turn anti-clockwise.

Next, tighten the two rear nuts for fixing the eye bolts.
Fig. 2-75: Re-attach the eye bolts
Adjust the front hinges by slackening the two nuts on
both hinges. Next, push both hinges uniformly approx
0.5 - 1 mm towards the boiler and tighten the nuts
once more.

Finally, re-attach the panel next to the combustion
chamber door.
Calibrating the lambda probe
The boiler's built-in lambda probe checks the
residual oxygen content of the flue gas and uses
it to control the combustion. To ensure reliability, the
control system autonomously performs an automatic
calibration after every 500 hours of operation.
If you wish to perform an additional lambda probe cal-
ibration, the control system features the [Addl. calibra-
tion] function. This function can be selected with the
[Service] access level and can be found under:
