Software not authorized screen
If you see the Software not authorized screen on the Control Panel, you will
be required
to enter an authorization code, obtained from your authorized service/support
center.

1. Select OK.
2. At the next screen, carefully write down the ID# that appears in the Control Panel and
call your authorized service/support center.

Do not select OK until you have written down the ID# as you cannot back up to this
screen. You will need to give your authorized service/support center the ID# and the
upgrade or service kit number. You will then receive a new authorization code.
3. At the screen “Enter Authorization Code”, enter the authorization code and select OK.
Use the up and down button on the Control Panel to select the correct letter or number
and the line selection buttons to advance to the next space. Note that the authorization
code must be entered exactly.
If you enter the wrong number, you will receive the message “Invalid code. Try again.”,
re-enter the authorization code. If you still get the invalid code message, call your
authorized service/support center.
