Paper Handling
1-5
❏
When you are using Premium Glossy Photo Paper, we
recommend that you allow the printout to dry for 24 hours
before displaying it, and that you use a glass frame for
display. This will prevent discoloration and extend the life of
your printout. Also, keep your printout indoors and a way
from direct sunlight.
❏
When you are using Photo Quality Glossy Paper,
Transparencies, or Premium Glossy Photo Paper, remove
each sheet from the output tray as it is printed.
❏
If the paper is curled, make sure to flatten it or curl it slightly
toward the opposite side before loading. Printing on curled
paper may smear your printout, especially when printing
with
Maximum
selected for the Printable Area setting.
❏
If ink smears on your documents when printing on thick
media, set the adjust lever to the “+” position. To change the
setting, open the printer cover and position the lever as shown
in the illustration.
