Notice on when to perform maintenance or Periodic Cleaning
Displays the remaining print duration, print page counter, or print length until maintenance or Periodic
Cleaning is performed.
You can press this area to perform Head Cleaning if necessary.
Also, maintenance cleaning may be performed regardless of the notification when the printer is turned back
on.

(Printer Status)
If a warning notification has been generated,

the screen displayed when you press this area to display a list of warning notifications. You can check detailed
information and the handling procedure for each item by pressing it in the list. Items are removed from the list
as those actions are taken.

(Maintenance)
The Maintenance menu is displayed on this screen and you can perform operations such as print head mainte‐
nance and replacing consumables.

(Switch connection status)
The following icons indicate the connection status between the computer and the printer.

The connection turns on or off every time this area is pressed.
For example, you can finish work more efficiently by turning the connection off to prevent jobs from being
received before performing maintenance such as printing a nozzle check pattern or executing Head Cleaning
after cleaning around the print head.
Note that you may not be able to switch depending on the operating status of the printer. In this situation, the
icon is grayed out indicating that the function is disabled.

(Switch screens)
Switch between the Home screen (status display) and the Home screen (adjust while printing) every time this
area is pressed.

(Cut)
Press to manually cut media using the built-in cutter.
