4-3 Server Setup
Server Setup
From this window, you can access Server Setup, Password, Job Log Setup, and
Support.
Server Setup
Server Name
—Enter a name for the RIP Station (up to ten characters long). This is the
name that will appear in the Chooser on an AppleTalk network. Also enter this name
when you configure the connection for the Fiery utilities over IPX/SPX networks (see
the Setup Guide).

OTE
:
Do not use the device name (Pro9000 or Pro7000) as the server name. Also, if
you have more than one RIP Station, do not give them the same name.
Print Start Page
—Select to specify that the RIP Station should print a start page every
time it restarts. The start page displays information about the RIP Station including
the server name, current date and time, Printer Mode, amount of memory installed in
the RIP Station, last calibration date, network protocols enabled, and connections
enabled.
