The home screen

The top three lines on the home screen are shortcut menus that display some setting items and current settings.
You can focus on this area by pressing the
u
or
d
buttons and then pressing
OK
to access the settings menu.
Paper Source
Select a paper source. See “Paper Source” on page 23.
Font
Selects one of the available fonts. To select a font, see “Font” on
page 23.
Pitch
Selects one of the pitch settings. To select a pitch, see “Pitch” on
page 23.

Indicates the part of the menu currently displayed on the screen. You can scroll the screen by using the

buttons.

Displays available buttons and controls.

Menu
Allows you to make printer settings. See also “Menu Options for Settings” on

Tear off
Allows you to feed continuous paper to the tear off position. See also
“Adjusting the tear off position” on page 53.
Replace Ribbon
Displays instructions for replacing the ribbon. See also “Replacing the
Ribbon Cartridge” on page 108.
