Batch registering users
Use the following procedure to perform a batch registration of multiple users.

Create a CSV format file containing the information of the following items.
•
(1) User name:
The user name to use for identity authentication in EPSON Total Disc Maker/
EPSON Total Disc Monitor/EPSON Total Disc Net Administrator.
•
(2) Password:
The password to use for identity authentication in EPSON Total Disc Maker/
EPSON Total Disc Monitor/EPSON Total Disc Net Administrator.
•
(3) User number:
The user number to use for identity authentication with the authentication
keypad.
•
(4) PIN:
Enter the PIN to use for identity authentication with the authentication keypad.

•
It is not possible to assign approver (Security Mode only) or administrator authority
when performing a batch registration of multiple users. To set authority, change the
information of each user after performing a batch registration. (See “Changing user
information” on page 85 in this guide.)
•
You can register up to 100 users including the number of users for which user
information is already registered.
•
Enter 5 to 16 alphanumeric characters for the user name.
•
Enter 5 to 16 alphanumeric characters or symbols (“.”, “ -”, “_”) for the password.
•
The password is case-sensitive.
•
Do not set a date of birth, employee number, or anything else that is easy to guess for
the password or PIN.
•
Enter 5 to 16 numbers for the user number and PIN.
•
Manage the passwords and PINs so that they cannot be used by anyone other than
the users.
•
The period of validity for the password and PIN is 180 days. Change them regularly
before the period of validity ends. (See “Changing password and PIN” on page 89 in
this guide for the procedure to change the password and PIN.)
