Secure disc creation
To use the Pin Controlled Mode/Security Mode in this product and build an environment for creating disc securely,
thoroughly familiarize yourself with the following information and start setup tasks.
Roles of the person in charge and the users (administrators, approvers, publishers)
To appropriately use the Pin Controlled Mode/Security Mode in this product, it is necessary to separate the roles of
the person in charge and the users (administrators, approvers, publishers). (In PIN Controlled Mode, it is not
necessary to appoint an approver.) Each of the roles is described below.
Who is the person in charge?
This is the head of the organization that installed this product.
Role of the person in charge

Appoints administrators (more than one) who can be trusted and teaches the administrators the required
knowledge
•
Appoints approvers who can be trusted
Who is a user?
A user is a person who has the authority to create discs using this product. This includes administrators, approvers
and publishers.

Sets up, operates, and manages this product
•
Trains approvers and publishers in how to install the software
•
Trains approvers and publishers in how to operate the product
•
