Settings for Windows 2000/NT

Printing via LPR software in Windows NT 4.0

Installing LPR software in Windows NT 4.0

Follow the steps below to install the LPR software on Windows
NT 4.0. If you have already installed Microsoft TCP/IP Printing,
you can skip these steps.

1. Double-click the

Network

icon in the Control Panel and click

Add

on the Services menu.

2. Select

Microsoft TCP/IP Printing

and click

OK

.

3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Setting up the printer in Windows NT 4.0

After configuring the Internal Print Server, you need to set up the
network printer. Follow these steps to set up the printer in
Windows NT 4.0.

1. Make sure the printer is turned on.

2. Click

Start

, point to

Settings

, and then click

Printers

.

3. Double-click the

Add Printers

icon, and click the

My

Computer

radio button, then click

Next

.

4. Click
