BND: ACT submenu
The BND: ACT submenu has the following options. These options define the alarm actions
when the machine speed in within one of the defined speed bands. For each of the options,
choose one the following settings:
l
MULT - The monitor multiplies the Alert and Danger alarm setpoints and the display
scale by the factor defined for the band. You define the alarm mutiplier in the MULT 1
and MULT 2 submenus (page 29).
l
INHIB - The monitor inhibits the Danger alarm relays when the machine speed is in the
band. INHIB does not change the action of the Alert alarm or other relays.
l
BOTH - The monitor both multiplies the alarm setpoints and inhibits the Danger alarm
relays when the machine speed is in the band.
l
NONE - The monitor does not apply any multiplier to the alarm setpoints in the band;
nor does it inhibit the Danger relays for this channel when the machine speed is in the
band.
For more information on speed bands, see “Understanding Speed Bands” on page 38.
