Installation
Non-contact Sensor to Monitor Wiring
The following diagram shows the wiring of a non-contact sensor to the backplane of the
monitor.
Note the following:
l
The transducer power supply polarity must match the transducer. For example, if using
an Entek IRD 1900 non-contact sensor, the monitor must be configured to provide
negative voltage. For more information on configuration of the power supply, refer to
the manual on 6600 monitor power supplies and backplanes.
l
Ground the cable shield as shown. Do not ground the shield at both ends.
