Remove two guide rails (450) from the water boiler chassis (525) as follows:
(a)
Remove eight screws (455) and two screws (460) that attach the two guide rails (450) to
the water boiler chassis (525).
(b)
Remove two guide rails (450) from the water boiler chassis (525).
(9)
Disassemble the faucet assembly on a unit that is Not Rapid Recovery as follows:
NOTE:
The steps below are for faucet assembly (PN 3520-0640-03) in IPL Figure 4.
(a)
Refer to previous steps for removal of faucet assembly from water boiler.
(b)
Remove screw (60) from the faucet body (75).
(c)
Remove dowel pin (10) from the faucet handle (5).
(d)
Turn faucet cap washer (35) and faucet cap (40) clockwise from the faucet plug (45).
(e)
Remove faucet spring (50) from the faucet stem (55).
(f)
Remove faucet stem (55), faucet seal (65), and faucet aerator (70) from the faucet
body (75).
(10) Disassemble the faucet assembly on Rapid Recovery units as follows:
NOTE:
The steps below are for faucet assembly (PN 3520-0640-01) in IPL Figure 4.
(a)
Refer to previous steps for removal of faucet assembly from water boiler.
(b)
Remove screw (60) from faucet body (75).
(c)
Remove dowel pin (10) to remove faucet handle (5).
(d)
Remove switch magnet (15) from the faucet handle (5).
(e)
Remove two pin connector (20) from the reed switch (25) with extractor tool
(PN 11-03-0043). Refer to REPAIR section for details.
(f)
Remove non-fray varglass sleeving (30) from the reed switch (25).
(g)
Remove the reed switch (25) from the faucet body (75).
(h)
Turn faucet cap washer (35) and faucet cap (40) counterclockwise away from the faucet
plug (45) and the faucet body (75).
(j)
Remove faucet plug (45), faucet spring (55), faucet stem (55), and faucet seal (65) from
the faucet body (75).
(k)
Remove faucet aerator (70) from the faucet body (75).
