D. POWER and LOW WATER Button Light Test
(1)
Connect the UUT to the 115 VAC ± 3 Volts, 400 Hz test bench power supply and activate the
power.
(2)
Turn the UUT power ON.
(3)
Make sure that the ON/OFF and LOW WATER indicator illuminates. Check both heaters and the
READY light indicator have NOT activated.
(4)
Turn the UUT power OFF.
(5)
Turn the test bench power OFF.
(6)
Capacitor and Triac Test
(a)
Install the Multi Test Box (refer to Table 1001) between J4 and P4.
(b)
Manually open the C.B. on the Multi Test box (refer to Table 1001).
(c)
Check the Multi Test Box temperature switch is set to 205 °F (96 °C).
(d)
Turn the test bench power ON.
