(a)

Remove screw (60), lock washer (65), and flat washer (70) that attach the module
door (55) to the molded module housing (130). Remove the module door (55).

CAUTION:

ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE SENSITIVE (ESDS) PARTS. USE ESDS 
PROCEDURES AND WORK ARE TO AVOID DAMAGE.

(b)

Unplug harness assembly (95) and all other wiring connectors from the sockets in the 
hybrid PC board assembly (100).

(c)

Remove four screws (105), four lock washers (110), and four washers (115) that attach the 
hybrid PC board assembly (100) to the module cover (75). Remove the hybrid PC board 
assembly (100).

(d)

Remove four screws (125) that attach the rear support assembly (120) to the water boiler 
chassis (525).

(e)

Remove two screws (135), two lock washers (140), and two flat washers (145) that attach 
the rear support assembly (120) to the molded module housing (130). 

(f)

Remove the water plug (200) and O-ring (205) that attach the drain valve body (195) to the 
rear support assembly (120).

(g)

Cut and discard wire tie wrap. Remove heater wire and grommet (250) from molded 
module housing (130).

(h)

Remove two screws (175), four washers (180), two washers (185), and two nuts (190) that 
attach the connector harness assembly (150) grounding wires to the water boiler
chassis (525).

(j)

Move the rear support assembly (120) down to permit the molded module housing (130) to 
disengage from the water boiler chassis (525). Remove the module housing (130). 
Remove the rear support assembly (120) from the water boiler chassis (525).

(k)

Remove and discard o-ring (160) from the connector harness assembly (150) and remove 
connector harness assembly (150) from the rear support assembly (120).

(l)

Remove drain funnel (265) from the water boiler chassis (525).

NOTE:

The drain funnel (265) design has been improved. Replace as necessary per 
3530-0337-SIL-001. 

(m)

Unscrew drain valve stem (210), O-ring (215), O-ring (220) from the drain valve                    
body (195).                                                                                                               

(n)

Loosen nut (240) from the drain valve body (195). Remove tubing (225) from tank 
assembly (545).

(p)

Remove two screws (275) and nuts (280) that attach drain tube assembly (270) to the 
water boiler chassis (525).

(5)

Remove the rail lock block (285) from the water boiler chassis (525) as follows:

(a)

Remove two screws (290) that attach rail lock block (285) to the water boiler chassis (525).
