 The  -symbol appears in front of all write-protected parameters.
The device automatically locks the write-protected parameters again if a key is not pressed for 10 minutes in the
navigation and editing view. The device locks the write-protected parameters automatically after 60 s if the user
skips back to the operational display mode from the navigation and editing view.
If parameter write protection is activated through an access code, it can only be deactivated with the same
access

The user role with which the user is currently logged on through the local display is indicated by the Access status
parameter. Navigation path: Operation → Access status.
8.5.2.1 Parameters that can be modified from the local display
Parameters that do not affect the measurement are excepted from write protection through the local display. Despite
the user-specific access code, they can be modified even when other parameters are locked. These include format
display, contrast display, and display interval parameters.

8.5.3 Defining the access code through the web browser

Navigate to the Define access code parameter

Define a 4-digit numeric code as an access code.

Enter the access code again in the Confirm access code parameter →  to confirm the code.
 The web browser switches to the login page.
If no action is performed for 10 minutes, the web browser automatically returns to the login page.

8.5.4 Resetting the access code
If you misplace the user-specific access code, it is possible to reset the code to the Factory setting. A reset code must
be entered for this purpose. The user-specific access code can then be redefined.
To reset the access code from the web browser (through CDI-RJ45 service interface):
To obtain a reset code, contact your Hauser service organization.

Navigate to the Reset access code parameter.
2.
Enter the reset code.
 The access code has been reset to the Factory setting 0000. It can now be redefined.
8.5.5 Write protection with write protection switch
Unlike parameter write protection with a user-specific access code, the write protection switch allows write access to
be locked to the entire operating menu except for the Contrast display parameter.
