Access through service interface
The device can be accessed from the service interface (CDI-RJ45). Device specific functions guarantee the secure
operation of the device in a network.
Connection to the service interface (CDI-RJ45) shall only be permitted by trained personnel on a temporary basis
for the purpose of test, repair or overhaul of the equipment, and only if the area where the equipment is to be
installed is known to be non-hazardous.
The use of relevant industrial standards and guidelines that have been defined by national and international safety
committees, such as IEC/ISA62443 or the IEEE, is recommended. This includes organizational security measures
such as the assignment of access authorization as well as technical measures such as network segmentation.
