Using a 1.5 mm Hex driver, turn the set screw on the power junction box (JB) counterclockwise. Set aside the
cover.

Feed cable or wires (2.1 mm

, #14 AWG) through the heater power inlet and into the junction box.
Conduit seals and glands specific to the application should be used where appropriate in compliance with
local regulations.
For models of the J22 TDLAS Gas Analyzer with enclosed SCS featuring a heater with optional imperial
connections, a suitable equipment seal shall be installed within 5 cm. (2 in.) of the outer enclosure wall of
the heating circuit.

Strip back the jacket and/or insulation of the wires just enough to connect to the power terminal blocks.

Connect the ground wire to the terminal block.
