6. Connect the protective ground.
7. Plug in the RJ45 connector.
8. Firmly tighten the cable glands.
 This concludes the PROFINET connection process.

1. Push the cable through the cable entry . To ensure tight sealing, do not remove the
sealing ring from the cable entry.
2. Strip the cable and cable ends. In the case of stranded cables, fit ferrules.
3. Connect the protective ground.
4. Connect the cable in accordance with the terminal assignment .
 Signal cable terminal assignment: The device-specific terminal assignment is
documented on an adhesive label in the terminal cover.
Supply voltage terminal assignment: Adhesive label in the terminal cover or
→  46.
5. Firmly tighten the cable glands.
 This concludes the cable connection process.
6. Close the terminal cover.
7. Close the housing cover.

WARNING
Housing degree of protection may be voided due to insufficient sealing of the housing.
‣
Screw in the screw without using any lubricant.

WARNING
Excessive tightening torque applied to the fixing screws!
Risk of damaging the plastic transmitter.
‣
Tighten the fixing screws as per the tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 lbf ft)
8. Tighten the 4 fixing screws on the housing cover.
