Designated use
Designated use
The ASP station 2000 is a stationary sampler for liquid media. The samples are taken
discontinuously using the vacuum principle, distributed to sampling containers and
stored cooled.
The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage caused by improper or non-
designated use. The device can cause danger if used improperly or other than
intended. If it is obvious that safe operation is no longer possible (e.g. visible damage),
please take the device immediately out of service. Secure the device against
unintentional start-up.

Installation, electrical connection, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the
device must only be carried out by specially trained personnel who have been
authorised to do so by the system operator. The personnel must have read and
understood these Operating Instructions and follow the instructions contained within.
Before connecting the device, ensure that the power supply corresponds to the value
specified on the nameplate. Before switching on the system, again check that all
connections are correct.

Repairs
Repairs that are not described in these Operating Instructions may only be carried out
directly at the manufacturer's or by the HAUSER service department.
Hazardous areas
The standard version of the ASP station 2000 (RPS20-) is not suitable for mounting in Ex
areas.
As an option, the ASP station 2000 (RPS22) can be obtained with certification for
mounting in Ex areas of ATEX Zone 2 (ATEX II3G EEx nA/C IIC T4).
EMC
The measuring system meets the general safety requirements of EN 61010 and the
EMC requirements of EN 61326.
Technical improvement
The manufacturer reserves the right to adapt technical data to the most up-to-date
technical developments without any special announcement. Ask HAUSER
for information about activities and possible extensions to these Operating Instructions.
