R100 Sampler Assembly Set-Up and Testing
NOTES:
Before sampling with the R100:
•
Perform the sanitization procedure in Appendix B.
•
The R100 must be calibrated as a system with the desired configuration (28.3 LPM (1CFM) or 100 LPM
inlet cover), and the length (and ID) of tubing it will used with. Both the 28.3 LPM and 100 LPM sample
rates can be calibrated on each unit.
1. R100 Sampling Assembly Set-Up and Testing
1.1
Upon completion of sanitization per Appendix B (If applicable), place the R100 Controller at the
desired location for remote operation of the RAS.
1.2
Place the RAS at the desired sampling location, within the constraints of the vacuum tubing limitations
between the R100 Controller and the RAS, as follows:
1.2.1
For sampling at 28.3 LPM (1 CFM), the tubing length may be up to 50 Feet (15 Meters).
1.2.1.1
Tubing Interior Diameter (ID) can be either 0.500” or 0.375” ID when sampling at 28.3
LPM.
