Process
Temperature
Sensor Failure

Failure has been detected in the
process temperature sensor
1. Verify the conditions of the process where the transmitter is
installed.
Note: If a junction box is installed/utilized, check the connections for the RTD
sensor.
2. Remove back housing cover (considering hazardous location
requirements) and check the cable and cable connection
between terminal block and RTD sensor.
3. Replace the RTD sensor.
4. Replace the electronic circuit board.
