3-wire RTD

A 4-wire Pt 100 RTD is required to maintain published performance specifications.
A 3-wire Pt 100 RTD may be used with degraded performance. If connecting to a 3-wire RTD, use a
4-wire cable to connect the Rosemount 3051SMV terminal block to the RTD connection head. Within
the RTD connection head, connect two of the same colored wires from the Rosemount 3051SMV to the
single colored wire of the RTD sensor.

Rosemount 305 and 304 Manifolds

The Rosemount 305 Integral Manifold is available in two designs: coplanar and traditional. The
traditional Rosemount 305 Integral Manifold can be mounted to most primary elements with mounting
adapters.
