You can use this feature during the wash cycle of the programme. If the drum is still
rotating and still contains a lot of hot water you will not be able to open the door, as
there is a risk of damage otherwise. Press START/PAUSE for 3 seconds to add more
clothing to the machine during a wash programme.
Follow the instructions below:
1. Wait until the drum has stopped rotating.
2. Open the door when it is unlocked.
3. Add the clothing and close the door. Then press START/PAUSE.
– Child Lock
You can use this feature to lock the washing machine so that children cannot start it.
When the lock is on you can only use the ON/OFF button.
The machine will remember the child lock setting when it is switched off.
Press “Extra Rinse” and “PreWash” simultaneously while a wash programme is run-
ning (the buzzer will sound, and the “START/PAUSE” button and programme selector
will both be locked).
Press the same two buttons simultaneously again to unlock the child lock. If the
power to the washing machine is cut, the child lock will also be deactivated.
NOTE! The child lock remains active when the wash programme has finished.
–Turningoffthebuzzer
The machine is fitted with a buzzer that can be turned on or off. When the buzzer
is turned off you will not hear it.Press and hold the “Temp” and “Spin” buttons for 3
seconds to turn the buzzer off (a beep indicates that the buzzer is deactivated). To
turn the buzzer back on press the same button again for 3 seconds.
– Reducing foam
If too much detergent is used it increases the degree of foaming, which has a neg-
ative effect on washing results. The washing machine automatically monitors the
amount of foam and can trigger a feature that reduces the degree of foaming.
