17_ASSEMBLING THE DRIVO II
- Disassemble the Drivo II body (Rif. A)
- Place the Drivo II body (Rif. A) vertically as indicated
(Pic.1) and hold it in place with the upper handle
- Spread the leg until you can hear the safety lever click
(Pic.2 and Pic. 3).
- Place the home trainer on a flat surface and insert the
side legs (Ref. L and Ref. R) (Pic. 4).
- Screw the M8x60 screws with the washers and the M8
nut (Ref. P – Q – S ) until it touches the side legs and starts
rotating them (Pic. 5).
- Spread the side legs (Ref. L - Ref. R ) to its max extent
(Pic 6).
-The centering pin must be aligned with the bracket holes
(Fig. 7).
- Tighten the safety knob (Pic. 8).
- Insert the central support (Ref. O)(Pic. 9)
- Tighten the M8 washers (Ref. T- Q)(Pic. 10)
- Make sure the hometrainer is stable (Pic 11), otherwise
operate on the adjustable feet (Pic 12A - 12B).
- Warning! the central support must remain at least 3 mm
above ground (Pic. 13).
18_INSTALLING THE SPROCKET CASSETTE
ON THE DRIVO II FOR M5 L=130 MM AND
L=135 MM CHAINSTAYS
- Assemble the sprocket cassette on the freehub by
aligning the groove profiles.
- 2 spacers (Ref. B) are usually needed for the Shimano
®
/ SRAM
®
9 speed cassette (Pic. 14), 1 spacer for the 10
speed cassette (Pic. 15) and no spacer is required for the
11 speed cassette (Pic. 16). Depending on the cassette
brand you are using there might be some differences with
the aforementioned general data.
- Using the torque wrench, tighten the lock ring supplied
with the cassettes onto the freehub body (Pic. 17).
CAUTION!
Strictly follow the instructions provided by the cassette
manufacturer with regard to specific installation
techniques, the need for additional spacers and torque
specifications.
NOTE: please contact your dealer if you have questions or
are unable to install the cassette. The warranty does not
cover any damage to the bicycle and/or Drivo II in the event
of incorrect installation.
- Drivo II includes the correct 5mm diameter quick release
adapter for dropout spacing ranging from 130mm (5,1
inches) to 135mm (5,3 inches). Therefore, on bikes with
130-135mm (5,1 to 5,3 inches) dropout spacing, insert
the left dropout adapter (Ref. D) (Pic. 18). Please consult
the paragraph 20 for bikes with 12mm diameter (0.47 in.)
x and 142mm (5,6 in.) thru-axle spacing.

- Loosen the bike’s rear brake and place the chain on
the smallest rear sprocket and the largest front chainring.
Remove the quick release from the rear wheel.
- Insert the quick release and the dropout adapter (Rif.C)
