2.1.1. Sticking of front foil
Front foil is on the executions with AUO touch panels only and it serves as decorative screen overlay. If
it is necessary to replace a display, foil will be demaged.
Front foil is not in executions with capacitive and eTurbotouch touch panels.
It is able to set front foil only in dust-free chamber and also must be deionised with ionization gun before
set to eliminate surface charge and thus devoid of any dust. Material of front foil is covered on both sides with a
layer of transparent protective film and olso one layer of protective paper on the sticker side. Remove protective
paper of sticker side before set the foil and then remove protective film. StickPred osadením fólie je potrebné
odstrániť z lepivej strany ochranný papier a potom aj ochrannú fóliu. Perform sticking in gloves to prevent the
transfer of fingerprints.
Note: It is recommended to entrust the replace foil for aesthetic reasons to Elcom professional who are pro-
perly equipped for such an operation.
2.2. Mainboard replace
2.2.1. N270
1. Release the screw of the Pico Power PCB, the little one.
2. Pico Power board is connected to mainboard with its connector on the bottom side. Pull Pico Power out
carefully.
3. Disconnect connectors of Pico Power PCB.
4. Disconnect mainboard connectors. Cable interconnection is described in particular chapter.
Note: Some of connectors could be assured with sticker tape.
Note: We recommend set cables according to original layout! It is necessary to memorize the layout before
dismounting of PCB.
5. Mainboard is fixed to rear cover with seven screws. Release the screws and remove the board.
Note: The four pieces of heat material stay sticked on the mainboard with cooling paste. Remove remains
of the cooling paste before mainboard reassembly and spread sufficient of a new cooling paste. Heat
material stick on particular components of the mainboard! Cooling is very important part of Uniq 150
and omission occurs malfunction, respectively destruction of Uniq 150!
