Uniq 150

2.1. Opening Uniq PC

It is needed to prepare before opening:

–

thin doublesided sticker tape with width max. 15 mm, recommended Tesafix 4965 - M990089

–

fragmentation sticker 17 × 50 mm - M030472

–

power glue, recommended Loctite 401 - M250007

–

adhesive foil 1A87015 clear ø11 mm × 2 - M030292 to overlap the buttons, protecting them against tape

glue. Adhesive foil is needed only to opening PC execution of Uniq 150.

–

Phillips screwdriver

–

cropping knife

Note: Removing of side profile can cause damage of buttons on the side of panel (PC execution only). We

recommend to have spare buttons - M040492.

All consumption material for openning and clossing Uniq unit is in Maintanance set with registration number

V 059000101

Disassembly process:

1.

Joint of side profile is situated under the fragmentation label mostly on the bottom edge of panel. Joint

is sticked with power glue. Cut the joint with cropping knife and remove side profile.

2.

There is doublesided sticker tape under the side profile layered in two plys. This must be removed too.

Note:  Be careful by removing sticker tape to prevent demage of side buttons. Side buttons are in PC execu-

tion only.

3.

Side buttons carefuly remove from panel, especially their part sticked on the rear cover.

4.

Remove the screws arround the perimeter of the rear panel with Phillips srewdriver.

5.

Now is possible to remove front cover. Open the front cover a bit and disconnect cables of rear cover.

Note:  Some of connectors could be assured against unwanted disconnection with sticker tape.

Mounting process:

1.

Connect cables of the covers according to mainboard type, display type and touch panel.

Description of interconnection is placed in the particular chapter. Exact interconnection of the side but-

tons cable is shown on the picture below.

2.

Set up the front panel. Take care to prevent nip of some cable between any parts of the panel!

3.

Set up the screws arround the perimeter of the rear panel.

4.

Execute the tests.

5.

If the panel consists of the side buttons (PC), stick them into the selection.

6.

Buttons interferring with adhesive foil to prevent leaking a tape glue into them and stick them.

7.

Stick doublesided sticker tape arround the perimeter of the panel. If the tape is more narrow than 15

mm, stick it in two plys. The first ply arround the front panel edge and the second ply arround rear panel selection

of side profile. Whole surface of the selection must be interferring with sticker tape.

8.

Stick the side profile arround the perimeter of the panel. When sticking it, very gently tighten, not to peel

off the stress caused by excessive tension. If the length of the side profile is not sufficient to connect the two

ends, it is necessary to repeat the sticking profile with a little more of tension. If the length of the side profile is

bigger then it is necessary to connect the two ends, simply cut excess profile. Both ends of side profile stick with

power glue.

9.

Fragmentation label stick by the side profile joint.
