Process of display replacement:
1. Disconnect cables from touch panel control board.
2. Touch panel control board is sticked with doublesided thick tape on display. We recommend use some
tool to remove the board to prevent break the board.
3. DLC display is fixed on holders with four screws M3 × 12 mm. Just loosen the screws and put the display
out.
4. EPDM tape is sticked arround the perimeter of inner side of the display. EPDM tape serves to fill up the
space between the touch panel (glass) and the display.
5. Display is fixed with four metalic holders, which are fixed with screws, nuts and spacers to the front cover.
6. Stick the front foil. Process is decribed in particular chapter.
Note: Front cover consists of metal joining strips to join front and rear cover together. It is also able to remove
the strips after display removal.
7. When installing display to the cover, note the propper position of EPDM tape which is responsible for an
esthetic function.
8. The touch panel control board is necessary to stick on the display on propper position. All touch panel
cables should be able to connect in. Interconnection is described in particular chapter.
Process of touch panel replacement:
1. Touch panel is sticked to the front display with spacer strips. The strips will be damaged by the removal.
2. Clean the cover of the spacer strips remains and stick new spacer strips.
3. It is recommended to use a preparation on bonding for touch panel installation to preserve constant gap
between the touch panel glass and the cutting edge in the cover.
4. Put silicone in the gap and level it with spatula. Use assigned solution to achive of glossy silicone sur-
face. Using the solution also facilitate work with silicone. Time of silicone solidification is about 24 hours.
Note: We recommend to entrust the touch panel installation for aesthetic reasons to Elcom professional who
are properly equipped for such an operation.

2.25.3. Replacement of display with capacitive touch panel (vandalproof)
It is necessary prepare before replacement:
– Tape TESA 4957 6 mm, about 1110 mm – M990140
– Insulation foil 25 × 12,5 × 0,25 mm – M030176
– Doublesided sticker tape Tesafix 4965 12 × 25 mm – M990089
– Silicone OTTOSEAL black vandal – M990144
– Phillips screwdriver
Process of replacement:
1. Remove the four screws holding the display with touch panel to the front cover via clips. Solidified sili-
cone still holds the display on the front cover. Use propper strenght to pull the display out..
Note: The display and the touch panle is the one integral part.
2. Cover and display clean of silicone remains.
3. Stick TESA tape arround the perimeter of inner front cover side about 1 mm from inner edge.
4. Spread the silicone arround the outher edge of TESA tape. Apply sufficient amount of silicone. The
silicone must fill all gaps after placing the panel.
5. Put display on not so far solified silicone and fix it with clips and screws.
6. Stick the insulation foil using doublesided tape on rear side of the display according to figure.
Note: Fron cover contains metal strips to join front and rear cover. It is possible to remove the metal strips
after removing the display or can be removed without display removal loosen the screws.
