4.5.2 Parameter of Leakage Current Measuring
In this menu the setting is carried out for the leakage current measurement.
Depending on the measurement configuration you have selected, there
maybe not all of the following parameters available or cannot be edited. The
entered values are changed in the at the moment active parameter block.
IUT voltage (V)
- enter the test voltage which the item under test is
supplied with. Depending on the selected power supply there are two
ranges available:
- "1~ NPE"
internal
230 ... 280 V
- the lower voltage value corre-
sponds with the mains supply.
- "1~ NPE"
external
50 ... 280V
- for an external supply voltage
The test voltage depends on the test regulations according to which the
test is carried out and can reach the 1.1 x of the rated voltage. Chapter 5
describes the input of the values.
IUT voltage test "no max./max 20%"
- monitoring of the test voltage.
no maximum
- only monitoring on under-run of the test voltage
max +20% -
reports additionally the exceeding of the predefined
test voltage at more than 20%

- here it is possible to select
the available test methods.
GLC / PE current - Ground Leakage Current measurement

Measurement of the leakage current flowing from the IUT over
the PE connection to ground. Application for IUT's of safety
class I (SC I).
ELC / contact current - Enclosure Leakage Current measure-
ment
- Measurement of the leakage current flowing from the
enclosure of the IUT to ground. Application for IUT's of safety
class I and II (SC II - protective insulation).
