TESTING
Prerequisite:
- The leakage current tester is connected and put into operation according
to Chap. 3.
- All test and instrument parameters are set according to Chap. 4.
6.1
Connect test object
Depending on the type of item to be tested, the valid norm after which
the test is performed, and the test mode the item under test has to be
connected.
Attention:
Use only undamaged, with the prescriptions complying lab cords for
the connection of the item under test. Check the lab cords before
each application.
Attention Leakage current tester 92-4D / 92-4E !
The protective earth contact of the schuko socket on the front-pan-
el of the tester is not connected with protective earth (isolated
from earth) !
- Start the test from the required menu (manually or automatically - see
Chap. 6.2 or 6.3).
- Operation and test voltage are measured and checked. At overrunning
or under running (Limit value = set point +/- 2%) a warning message
appears with status display and the test will be interrupted after a waiting
time (time out).
- At Min. Load current > 0 (see Basic parameter Chap. 4.5.1) the con-
sumed current is measured and checked. At under running appears a
warning message with status display, the test will be interrupted after a
waiting time (Time out).
