Leakage current tester 92-4A / 92-4D / 92-2E
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Test voltage too high, - too low
Readjust the voltage by means of variable-ratio transformer T1.
Test item not contacted
- Check the connections to the item under test.
See also wiring diagrams in the appendix.
- Eventually "Min. Load Current too high adjusted" in menu
"Parameter Settings Basic-Settings".
System fault: No measuring circuit found
The test system is not equipped with a measuring circuit (see
internal instrument in appendix).
System fault: Act. measur. cir. not available
You have selected a norm which does not comply with the built-in
measuring circuit. E.g. EN 60601-1 medical equipment, but a
measuring circuit is integrated, according to EN 60598-1 lighting
fixures.
System fault: Meas. mode not permitted
You have set a measuring mode which does not comply with
the integrated measuring circuit. E.g. PAC patient auxiliary cur-
rent (medical equipment), but a measuring circuit to EN 60335-1
house-
hold equipment is built-in.
System fault: Voltage control (U-reg.) in lower stop position
The slider of the buil-in variable transformer is on its lower stop
position. Maybe the mains supply is too high, the regulation cannot
set the test voltage > Output voltage too high.
System fault: Voltage control (U-reg.) in upper stop position
The slider of the build-in variable transformer is on its upper stop
position. Maybe the mains supply is too low, the regulation cannot
set the test voltage > Output voltage too low.
Fault: Manual test stop
You have interrupted the running test with the red button "Reset
Stop".
Fault: Leakage current too high
The parameter "Max. Leakage Current" in menu "Parameter Set-
tings
- "Leakage Current" was exceeded.
Fault: Time out of an interrupt message
The fault message appears, if within of appr. 1 minute the pre-set value
is not reached. Check the set values. Time out appears at
- Operating voltage (too high / too low),
- Test voltage (too high / too low),
- Contact monitoring (Min. Load Current).
